SEEING THE WORD BECOME FLESH—IN US!

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God from the beginning. (John 1:1)

The Word became flesh and made His dwelling among us. We have seen His glory, the glory of the One and Only, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth. (John 1:14)

These are just some of the powerful verses we see from the book of John.

Through Him all things were made; without Him, nothing was made that has been made. In Him was life, and that life was the light of men.

We read it slowly and allow its impact to hit us.

Just imagine how at he Word of God, the universe was created. Galaxies, planets, suns and moons, stars beyond counting, and in our own very earth, habitation began being released in fresh and creative expressions, all reflecting God’s glory.

Just meditating on these passages will take you to a time when you imagine the creator God doing what He did that will put the designers of pyramids or iPods or laptops to shame.

Sometimes, today’s technology and entertainment has wowed us many times so much so that we fail to be amazed at the greatest Creator of all.

Just devote time at how God designed the Kiwi fruit, the watermelon’s nicely arranged seeds, the mangoes, the papayas, the birds, the animals and you will never fail to see God’s glory. Have you ever looked at the sunset lately or gazed at the stars?

And yet, His most marvelous achievement is to bring His character and Spirit in us!

The Word became flesh, yes.

But the greater joy is that the Word became flesh to be in us.

The true light that gives light to every man was coming into this world. ( John 1:9).

Just imagine that we are actually going to reflect God’s glory in this dark world.

How we need it in these times that we’re in.

Shine Jesus Shine!!!!
